IMPORTANT NOTCE:
We were very much looking forward to hosting the Kincardine Castle Speed Fest this summer. We had a great line up of events and had managed to obtain a track licence for a timed hill-climb event.
Unfortunately, due to matters beyond our control, we are disappointed to announce that we are not able to proceed with the event this summer. The team remains committed to delivering a fantastic motor show at the Castle, and will aim for an even better event in 2024.
You can follow all our news and progress for the 2024 event on our blog and social media.
THE RACE IS ON!
Following the success of previous motor shows at Kincardine Castle, we proudly present the Kincardine Castle Speed Fest 2024 – date to be announced.
NEW FORMAT, NEW MANAGEMENT – SAME AMAZING SETTING
You told us you wanted fast cars - and we listened. In fact, we're going beyond that and are turning the motor show into an accredited race meeting.
Kincardine Castle is only the 5th Motorsport UK Hill Climb Track Licence holder in Scotland for speed events,
THE RACE
A BRAND NEW MSUK-approved timed Hill Climb event up 650m of the Castle's West Drive.
Even though it has been resurfaced and is looking good the tree shrouded corner demands respect, and therefore the track may appear simple but woe betide those that get it wrong!
We have capacity to see up to 80 drivers competing for the best times over two days of competition.
However many entries we have there will be cars on track the whole day long
Vehicle classes include road going, modified, competition cars (Saloon and Sports Libre Cars) as well as classic and thoroughbred
Unfortunately our MSUK track licence stipulates vehicle entries are restricted to production-based cars for the road.
Check out our Supplementary Regulations tab and get your entry in.
More details for the 2024 event will be published in the future.
AND IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH,
WE HOPE TO OFFER
Car Clubs and enthusiasts showcasing fast and fabulous cars from around the world
Food and drink stands to keep your engines revving
Shops and stall holders offering the best of local craftwork
A junior Highland Games Arena - hosted by our friends at Aboyne Highland Games and in association with the Scottish Highland Games Association
All within the stunning surroundings of Kincardine Castle in beautiful Royal Deeside
